The Day After
We left at about 7.30 am. Two days before, driving from Thagomindah to Cameron Corner, we did not pass a single vehicle - quite a scary thought considering that this was a 400 km drive. On the way back, we passed three vehicles - almost a traffic jam ...

The photo above was taken about midway between Cameron Corner and Thargomindah. This photo seems to typify Outback Australia. Only in the middle of nowhere could you see a 44 Gallon Drum, which is serving no useful purpose whatsoever, next to the only signpost for 50 km in any direction!
